Entering KSA New passport and old exit/re-entry

Hi All,
I exited KSA with multiple exit/re-entry and getting a new passport made in my home country. Can anyone tell me if I'd smoothly enter KSA with my new passport? (Will have my old passport and exit/re-entry with me too of course).

Has the old passport  expired?

No it's still valid but I've run out of pages.

There shouldn't be a problem as long as you have the old and new passports along with the re-entry paper, with you. There might be a slight delay at immigration as there is usually a process called "Naql al ma3loomat" (transferring information), which is basically updating your iqama and visa info onto your new passport, and updating the computer with your new passport number. The immigration staff at the counter may not able to do this and might as you to go to the supervisor's office.

:) Getting a new passport while on vacation?...not a good idea. The real problem is that your saudi visa is on a passport that has been stamped cancelled. As @hishmaj said, expect many questions coming on ALL immigration counters you pass through.
