I haven't heard about the expat meet up since a long time... guess everyone is very busy. ...
However, I'm usually having few drinks with "who wants to" on Fridays and Saturdays.
As I said to max, come back on this forum on Friday for more updates about this weekend.

When this workweek is over i'll definitly go out for drinks :-)

Friday! What kind of food are you all into?

Well ... can not talk for the others.. but as for me, I can eat ALL kind of food... I like khmer food and western food... but usually khmer food is cheaper... so lets wait the others to answer...

If it's okay with you guys I prefer NOT to drive to the Burger King at the airport for a bite

Khmer/Thai works for me. Or Mexican. Or BBQ might be nice too.

should we go for local food than?
I don't know many places yet, so far I've only been to a few places riverside were I stay,
equinox on a music quiz, which was awesome (I liked that area, don't what it's called though) and somewhere close to where they have have a lot of weddings hehe (that place was also nice, but more for eating than drinking)..

But if you don't mind, I'll leave it to you guys to pick a place

Oh the pressure. Well Boat Noodle on street 294 has really good Khmer food but the service is awful, more than usual for Cambodia. There's a place called Chinese Noodle on Monivong that does hand-pulled noodles which are so good, but not much else. There's Romdeng Restaurant, which is an NGO place on street 174 but it closes at 9 o'clock. Any preferences? Time?

The point is first to meet each others... eating is just a plus
I think we have to meet on Riverside. .. not too late because most of the places we could go are closing quite early.
What about 7:45PM?
