I can't see any fees for Victoria.
It comes down to your lifestyle preferences for the city and cash flow.
If your children are young, then Sydney might work well for you. Different areas have different costs of living. You can also reduce your costs through shopping smart.
Renting is tricky. It can be costly and you need to know your rights and how to enforce them. Many real estate agents seem to neglect the new to australia tenants because they can get away with it.
