Could I make it?

Hello all!

A few months ago I vacationed in Lebanon, and fell in love.  I love Beirut, and I love the surrounding area. 

I really would like to move there from the United States.  I'm 28 years old and a professional journalist.  In order to survive in Beirut and continue to pay my bills, I would have to take home monthly at least $4,000 USD. 

With the current state of the economy and the competitive job pool, how difficult do you think it would be for me to find work that pays that salary?  While I'm studying Arabic, I'm not yet fluent.

any way my friend I think that's hard to get this salary in Lebanon, with the exception of high-level administrative positions in some rare companies..
