Hi.. I'm Vietnamese ...im planing to move to Jakarta on August ... But before that I will make a trip to visit and look around first..
I never been to Jakarta before... So .. Please there is anyone knows about renting flats or houses Bcoz Im going to stay for one or two years.

It's a big mess of a city and you'll need to be near where you work unless you love traffic jams.

Sudirman, Senayan and Kuningan are quite popular. Maybe you can start searching online in those areas. Google sewa-apartment.net its a pretty useful site :-)

If i were you, i'd look for the address, the last thing you want is going to be a house far away from your office.
There are plenty of house /boarding house in sudirman and kuningan since it's the business center in jakarta.
