My Grandfather Augusta (various spellings) Cristofori is believed to immigrate to the United States some time before 1894. He came into Ellis Island and them setteled in the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts. I would like to trace his family back to Italy and then travel there to see if I have any relatives there. I also understand I can obtain citizenship in Italy if I can trace my family there. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
