Depending on if you get free housing thrown in with either post, it is much cheaper to live in Tripoli, I went for a job in Qatar (senior IT engineer) and was looking for around 30000 Riyal's per month plus housing, ended up here on less than that, but as I say the cost of living is very cheap if you exclude housing and cars.
