Now I have to find an apartment

Hello,

my name is Jessica. I will move to Martinique in April. Now I have to find an apartment. It should be not to expensive, I can work from home, so it is not important in which part of the island the apartment is.

Help is really appreciated.

Thank you
Jessica

Hi Jessica
How lucky for you to work from home! That means you don't have to deal with daily traffic.

There are so many beautiful houses/apartments with amazing views. But you HAVE to visit before choosing. Things like closeness to shops, public transport, access to beaches/mountain, ventilation, mosquitoes, risk of flood/landslide, friendliness of neighbours, can only be evaluated when you arrive there.
If you can give more info on what kind of place you're looking for I can give you suggestions for possible towns/areas.

Also, try looking on boncoin.fr and seloger.com French sites for apartment rentals. Remember, price varies a LOT depending on location on the island.

Cheers
Mae
