Housemaid using Visa on arrival

Hi all,

I've moved in muscat and already got my resident card issued. however my family is still in Indonesia waiting for family visa to be issued.

Actually my family don't have to wait for family visa to come here, they just can come here using visa on arrival and then convert it to family visa. However we plan to bring along housemaid from Indonesia, she has been working with my wife since long time ago, even before married. So she has already part of the family member in our family certificate.

with this regard, i would kindly ask: can my housemaid come to Oman using visa on arrival just like my wife and son and convert it to housemaid visa as soon as she arrives here?

from the company itself, they agree to facilitate the visa for housemaid as well, but since it is too long waiting for their initiative, i would like to use visa on arrival for my family and the housemaid.
