Madrid Taxpayer and U.S. Citizen Assistance Day

The U.S. Embassy will host a Taxpayer and Citizen Assistance Day on February 25, 2013. It is free and open to the public.

IRS representatives will give a presentation covering topics from new tax laws affecting 2012 tax returns to where to go for IRS help. Following the seminar, one-on-one consultations will be available on an appointment basis. Just email us at [email protected] to reserve your timeslot.

Representatives from the Federal Benefits Unit will talk about social security and other federal benefits and be available for consultation on a first come first serve basis. Consular representatives will answer questions relating to U.S. citizen services and visas.

Tax assistance information pamphlets, forms, IRS publications, and other handouts will be available.
