keep following up with the embassy. you may have to visit them daily to make them move. another option is to consult a lawyer. he will be able to guide you and may also be able to do the legal formalities on ur behlaf. but remember that it could be expensive and time consuming.
the best way is to try to compromise with the sponsor personally. try to get the exit visa/
