Hi there,
Me and my husband and 4 month old baby are looking into making the move to Australia from South Africa. But how do we go about it. MY husband is in I.T ( Linux) for the past 10 years now. DO we pack up and leave,and hope to get a job there or would he be able to find a job from South Africa. We've sent his CV to numerous jobs in Australia, but no response.
Please any help/assistance in the matter of South Africans that has made the move would be much appreciated.

Hi,
If you would like to live and work in Australia, the first thing you must have is a visa and the visa must be obtained before you leave your current country. A good place to start is the website for the Australian Department of Immigration & Citizenship-- www.immi.gov.au
