Islamic classes

For ladies there is Dar Al Dhikr

Its a college which teaches Arabic and Islamic Studies to non-arab ladies.

Its based just off Mather Road - 5  ins from the Mariott Hotel.

Dar ul Dhikr is v close to me, but unfortunately they only teach in the Arabic language. I'd prefer lessons taught in English so I can understand with no difficulty

Don't worry about it, had similar concerns but loved it when I went there. U wouldn't be the only one without previous knowledge of Arabic .had so much fun when I went for one semester.
Amazing place-too bad I don't live closer to it.

Dar ul Dhikr is specially for non Arabs and most have them do not understand Arabic at all.
They have three subjects Arabic, Quran Memorization and Islamic Studies.
The 'Islamic Studies' are taught in both English and Arabic.
The Arabic course is taught in Arabic but its done so well that u start understanding it in no time.
I could only read Arabic but couldn't understand it all.
I have joined this course in Feb and trust me I am having a great time here.
