Age of Dependants - Residency in Uruguay

Hello!

We are thinking of moving to Uruguay - we have heard a lot of good things about how peaceful it is and the friendliness of the people.  Besides, it's beautiful!

We have a young but grown daughter who is currently living at home and underemployed despite being a skilled college graduate.  We would love her to come with us, and she is also interested, but her income at present is insufficient to obtain residency on her own.

We are wondering, as a result, if there are age limits (or other restrictions) on claiming dependants in Uruguay, what they are, and if we would be able to include our daughter in our residency until she can fend for herself there.  She's pursuing some promising options to try to raise her income, but we'd still like to know the answer to this question.

Many thanks!

PS - Is it possible for a non-minor dependant to obtain a work permit in Uruguay?  Our daughter wants to work there if she can go.

Grettings:

Your daughter may enter to uruguay as tourist, and initiate, in Montevideo, the residence permit and obtain a temporary permit and uruguayan ID card. This would allow her to look for and obtain a job.

She may have about 6 months to present a promise of work or prove she's got already a job.

Another exception is to start some studies in uruguay, which will entitle her to obtain a temporary residence permit.

Enter to uruguay is easy, and if you delay to initiate the process, you can always cross the border (argentina or Brasil) to renew the 3 months tourist permit.
