Hello everyone,
I will be moving to Tanzania in Dec for approximately 15 months to assist in the construction of an "at risk" children's home(orphanage) in Mto Wa Mbu for a North American based nonprofit organization. For the most part I am a long term volunteer in Tanzania and won't be working for any Tanz. based organizations/businesses. I was wondering what kind of work permit(if any) i need to get before going, and what kind of visa or resident permit I need? what are the fees involved?
Also if anyone can tell me how much I can expect to pay for a mattress and/or cook-top I would appreciate it.

Work permit Cat B on behalf of your employer , also Residence permit Cat B /2 year / , the fee is USD 1500 ,-
You cannot work legal with Tourist visa / 90 days /,what you can get at the airport on arrival.
