If you read my previous post you'll see that newly qualified gets around 45k a year. Am not sure if this is a registered nurse but would assume so. 45-55k a year is a reasonable salary but with a family included you might find it a little tougher. Depends where in NZ you live and your lifestyle. Lots of families do live on far less income.

I had an offer for $62,458 per year plus 35% shift differential but that is with 20 years of experience.
