Finding A Host Family in Amsterdam.
Hi everybody!
I'm a Junior High School (11th grade) from Belgium. Unfortunately,I didn't find any good school in my country with majors in English. I heard recently about the University Of Amsterdam, which has a major in American Studies. I'm a huge fan of the U.S and would like to live there after College. So that seems to be a good idea.
Amsterdam is 2 hours drive from my town (Liège).I'll come back for weekends but during the week I'd like to find something cheap or even better,a host family. An American or English one would be great (considering I can speak a little bit Dutch:/) but a Dutch one is still ok
I'm funny,talkative,open-minded and down-to-earth.I love kids so looking after them would be really awesome! I'm not great at cooking but I can do washing-up and stuff like that. I wanna be really involved in the family. Is anyone is interested? or know someone who could be? I'd like first to send emails/letters to get to know each other,it's only in 2/3 years!
Does anyone know an organization which deals with students and host families?
or plan b,a housing in Amsterdam for students/exchange students.
Thanks in advance,
Caroline
