Living with cats in Addis Ababa

We will move to Addis Abebe in January/February 2010. We have got two housecats. They live inside and outside of our house. Does anybody has experience with moving cats from europe to ethiopia and how to manage it? Are there good compounds to rent, where our pets can live?

Re: Living with cats in Addis Ababa

There is no problem bringing cats to Ethiopia.
Cats are very popular in Ethiopia and many people get some at their house.
However, bear in mind that medicine for cats might not be available...so ask yoy vet about what to bring with you...
There are few Western trained vets in Addis...

Best wishes
