Night construction

Hi, we have been unable to sleep the past few nights because really, really loud construction has been going on right next to our building. Does anyone know for sure if there is a law in Beijing that says its illegal for construction to happen between the hours or 8pm and 7am? A friend told us this was the case, but we have not been able to find any real info about it. Help!
