I am moving to Xiamen in September to teach at XMU and I would like to make contact with other expats there. I may be interested in renting a place with someone, or at least getting some advice about how to find a good place in the right location. I am especially interested in networking with other teachers at XMU and musicians in Xiamen.

Welcome to Xiamen! Try find an apt in Xiamen Bowuguan(museum) or Zengcuoan area. Both areas are close to Xiamen Uni and have a relatively cheaper rent.
