New Years Eve in Mauritius

We are moving to Mauritius on the 28th December and are looking for a great way to start our journey and stay on the island.  Are there any great new years eve parties or functions planned that we could book now for?  I take it if we arrive and try and get a table or place then they will be full.
Thanks

Re: New Years Eve in Mauritius

Hi,

It's me again!big_smile

I have friends coming over from Dubai end of the year and I'm booking our New Year's Eve on the Isla Mauritia which is a very old Sail boat. They don't go out on sea but stay in the laguna of Grand Baie for New Year's Eve (usually however they go out on sea twice a week).

There is a very good festive mood on board and you have a beautifull view of all the fireworks from the nearby hotels.

We did it last year and it was fantastic.

If you want their contact info send me a private message.

Hope to meet you sometimes when you're here.
