Moving to Maputo

Hi, I am a South African female. My husband and I will be moving to Maputo shortly.

I am aware of the Language barrier. I need to know if I will be able to bring my Jack Russel with me. 

Is there a gym? What South African franchisees can I expect to find?  Nando's? Virgin active?

Is food and shopping expensive? I bake birthday cakes for a living. Will I be able to build a clientele in Maputo?
