I can see this forum is going to be no help

Did it occur to you that people might view the topic, read the question and have NO answer to it?

Just an idea

This forum has helped me quite a few times and I would like to say that many people got some help from here as well.

But that's only my humble opinion for a few countries in this forum I have my eyes on.

That's one place I don't look at quite often, since I don't live there any more and don't know much about the current laws for employment and such.

Hey, I too live in Raleigh and am moving to Germany next year. I couldn't find your other post so I can't offer any advice on specifics about moving to Germany.

I did read one thing that I found kind of strange though. It seems that you are interested in moving to Germany of your own accord. I think it is a great idea. However, from the sounds of it, you have never visited. How do you know that you would like living there?

In your profile, it seems as though your political frustrations are at least partially motivating your desire to move. I lived in Germany for six months, not long I know, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that politician are politicians. They are no different in Germany or anywhere else.

I would suggest going over to Germany and staying for an extended vacation. Let the people, the society, the history, etc. be deciding factors, not your misgivings about US politics.

people love to read than write. one can hope to get a response to his blog but cannot expect it. it all depends on how the reader finds your blog interesting, or if he is on the mood to key in some strokes in his pc.

i've learned some thing on this forum already so i don't find it totally useless. chill out. :-) post it again on another subject maybe. it's like selling something. make it attractive so you get views. then maybe they will answer. it just worked now.

I have decided that after much research I will not be able to move to Germany due to the cost of living being much higher than the USA. I have decided to just take an extended vacation to Germany and stay a couple of months and travel around and do the tourist things. Thanks for your help.
