Caribou in Lyon looking for maple syrup lovers
Hey all,
I've been living in Lyon for over 2 years and I find it very difficult to adjust/adapt. I have very few friends and I find it near impossible to break through to people and try to strike some kind of friendship. Lyon is reputed for non-approachable people and I can definitely testify to that.
I'm originally from Montreal Canada, and I teach English for a living.
If anyone has any kind of suggestion as to how to meet friendly people, I'll take whatever advice you have.

Hey Berg!
Lyon has lots of fun places, bars, venues... I hear Canadian people are really welcomy... it's true we're kinda harder to get to know... but we sure like to party!
Joining some sort of club/ team/ theater club... that always helps meeting new people...
You should go to that Soul food event at the Ninkasi in Gerland on the 18th... lots lots of friendly people there I'm sure!
