US FEDERAL TAX RETURN- DEDUCT SALES TAX PAID IN THAILAND?

As a former resident of Washington state, I had the option to deduct sales taxes paid when filing a US Federal tax return.
I moved to Bangkok last month.
When I file my tax return next year for 2012, can I deduct sales taxes paid in Thailand?  Anyone have any experience with this?
