Newcomers Guide to New Caledonia 2007

Hi I am from Sudbury Ontario and I am considering taking a 6 month work assignment in Noumea.  Can anyone give me the correct link to the Newcomers Guide to New Caledonia 2007.  I have tried the ones listed in the blogs and they do not work correctly.  I have read the 1997 version but would like to look at the latest one.  Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

Re: Newcomers Guide to New Caledonia 2007

This guide was written for SPC people. wink

My contact at SPC told me she did not know of an update. sad

It'is always a very good guide, except that the prices increased (really !) one , and that some shops are no more alive.

Read the post I wrote to an NZ guy some weeks ago about working in NC. top

If you need more information, feel free to ask. iagree

But if you plan to stay in NC, you'll need to speak a little bit French ! dumbom

Re: Newcomers Guide to New Caledonia 2007

Hi HyperKeez

The lonely version (1993, updated 1997) was written by English speaking ladies (LINKS club) living in New Caledonia, most of them related to SPC experts.

You can find it at :

http://www.spc.int/coastfish/Reports/Misc/NC6.pdf

Good luck
