Hi abhay4mail,

Could you please post your advert in the Jobs in New Jersey section?

Thank you.

This is sonu singh baghel,
1.Awarded Nation Scholarship in the field of Hindustani Classical 2.Music by the Govt. of India in 2006.
3.Regular Artist of Akashwani & doordarshan.
4.winning so many in national & state level.
5.performed so many concerts.

if you really want to seek employment as a music teacher, you will have to find the schools and target them specifically. I can almost guarantee there are no New Jersey based Indian music school directors reading here, as that is a very specific type of person!

please give me a chance to work as a hindustani classical music teacher in usa school/collage

Ok.  I'll allow it.

Hi chidanandmurthi,

You should post your resume in the Teaching jobs in New Jersey section please as it might help :)

Thank you

Maximilien

..i love music and really interested in sincere music related jobs if i got a chance.would you please help me

There is always the possibility of playing gigs for money. This is the tactic I take. This usually involves going into a bar and asking if they will pay you in exchange for entertaining drunken people for roughly four hours.

If you are interested, here are my qualifications:
-I can play guitar sober and drunk. Even whiskey-shots-with-the-band-in-the-parking-lot drunk.
-My bass cabinet/amp is loud enough to (almost) blow the clothes off of women
-I have never been punched while playing music
-I have only been hit in the head with a beer can one time at a gig... I kept on rockin' into the night.
-I have signed two boobs in my life (by request... theirs not mine)
-I can play a mean blues solo on the organ while drinking a beer
-I'm bringing sexy-banjo back

In all seriousness though, if you want to teach music, you must apply to a university. If you want to teach private lessons, the most efficient way is to go to a music store that sells the instrument that you want to teach on, talk to the owner, and see if he is interested in hiring you or at least will let you post your card or contact information on their gig board (the board near the door where bands and musicians look for people to gig with).

I find this hard to believe.

I have been punched while not playing music and other people have been punched (and shot at on one occasion) while I have been playing music, but I consider myself lucky that no one has wanted to cause me bodily harm mid-performance.

The other guys had such impressive resumes, I didn't want to feel left out...

But you didn't mention any certifications from organizations that nobody's ever heard of.

You are right. I forgot to mention that I got a certificate in Musicianshipping from the Institute of Bad-Assidness United Certification Printing System Incorporated (IBAUCPSI).

I thought you got your Final Undergraduate Learner's License from the South Houston Institute of Technology.
