Driving Licences & Insurance

Hi all ,
will be looking at relocating in the early part of the new year, not sure where I will finally settle ,but will be doing a fair bit of exploring to find a suitable home, to aid this I will either buy or rent a car/ motor bike, & I need some guidance to how & where I can take my car & bike test, while on many trips to Philippines the standard of driving is not the best I am sure there will be a legal requirement of testing & insurance.

I have driven extensively in various countries including Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Most European countries & North America.
