Working in Canada

Could soembody help me?
My son is living in Montreal and I want to be near him, how can I get an emplyment visa without so much money and without setting my own business?
With the visa I can look for a job without problems, cleanning houses, housekeeping, selling mexican silver jewelry, etc.

Re: Working in Canada

It may depend on your son's situation. Perhaps he could sponsor you. The application fee for a temporary work is only $150, but you need a legitimate job offer before you can apply for the visa. It is difficult to qualify for a permanent resident visa under the self-employed category.

Feel free to email me the details if you want a more complete answer to mike.hodgkinson[at]ymail.com

Thank you
