Advice on EU passport

Hello,

I am an expat working in CZ. Straight forward question. So, its been my desire since always to travel as part of my work. (My current company does not allow that). I applied for a few other companies which allow that, however, all of them say that I need to have a valid EU passport...

I know its a time consuming thing (at least 10 years) to get an EU passport..I am in Prague since less than a year. Anyone having any idea/advice how to overcome that...because it's kind of frustrating when you know you have the qualification and skills but just being an expat changes everything.

Thank you,
E.
