TAX ON SOC SECURITY AGE PENSION
Has any one had any experience with their Australian Age Pension being taxed by Indonesian Govt.?My pension while I am resident in Aus. is too small to be taxed, although I have a tax file number as a past taxpayer. Iwould like to apply for a retirees visa when I go to Indonesia and submit my tax exempt form which states "tax exempt"I am wondering how much I would have to pay because of the different value in currency?Retiree in my case does not mean "rich".I have searched all over various sites and I am none the wiser. If anyone can help it would ease my mind, thats why I would like someone who has experienced this situation to give me some advice.Thank you in advance.

Re: TAX ON SOC SECURITY AGE PENSION
This can be a tricky one. I'm in a similar situation, and have blogged about this at: http://borborigmus.wordpress.com/2009/0 … scal-maze/
See the comment thread for that post for an update too.
Hope this helps.
