Russian woman moving back to St petersburg

I wish to move my personal items including my bed and television back to my apartment in st petersburg from my rented apartment in London.

however i know that there can be problems with customs, has anybody done this and can anyone give me any advice. i naturally do not want to pat tax on goods i purchased sometime ago and that i have no intention of selling.

any advise would be greatly appreciated.
