Just under 3 hours by plane (over 200 GBP), under 2 days by bus ( abt 140 GBP).
You better have some friends in MD, because it's a bit different from UK. My guests enjoyed themselves (that's what they told me). Not the usual type of holiday destination the typical brit is used to. But food and drinks are cheap and good. People are quite desperate to show that the country it's worth some admiration, so spiritual generosity and hospitality is guaranteed. Good luck.
