Anyone in Florence???
I am a 46 year old former IT Support Manager. I've just taken voluntary redundancy and have decided to take a year out (hopefully longer) living and working in Italy. I recently spent a week in Tuscany and like many others immediately fell in love with Florence.
I want to work, although I'd like to stay out of IT. I'm financially secure for 12 months so I'll consider anything. My main objective is to become fluent in the language. I would also consider voluntary work.
My main concern is accomodation, I'll be looking for something basic.
Any advice or help anyone can give would be gratefully recieved.

Re: Anyone in Florence???
Financially secure for 12 months... sounds great. Apartments are no problem in this city, I wrote about it on my blog http://movingtoflorence.blogspot.com/se … 20Florence
You might consider a language course or an internship to get into a field besides IT that interests you
