Health care options for US expats in Colombia

I am studying my options for family health care coverage beginning in the next few years. I currently have BCBS which has an international option honored in some Colombian cities. However, with all the changes going on in the US it is uncertain what my coverage may look like down the road. Would like to know about local options in Colombia and more about the health care system, in general (similarities/differences).

I appreciate any information you might be able to help me with.

Thanks!

Roger

Check out EMI. Good inexpensive emergency care, their doctors make house calls and they provide access to specilists at VERY reasonable rates. Our experiance with them has been outstanding.
