UK Citizen Considering Move
I'm a UK citizen and I have been considering for a while moving to California. There is a possibiliy of a job sponsorship in the pipeline but I just wanted to get an idea of costs, tax , cost of living/working in Ca.
The job will be based in around Concord and I will have rent paid for a short time untill I find a house.
What is the process regarding income tax, mortgages and other taxes payable in California for a non US Citizen.
Really anything to help me find out what my take home salary will be so I can find out what kind of house/lifestyle I can afford while I'm there.
Thank very much in advance,
Georgina
