Pregnancy in the Virgin Islands

Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in the Virgin Islands?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in the Virgin Islands?

Thanks a lot for your advice :)

Re: Pregnancy in the Virgin Islands

I can only share what I've read or seen on TV.
There are several good OB/GYN Dr's on St. Croix and several Gen Practioner's also who delivery babies and follow up.
There is one hosp here which I'm told has a good Labor and Delivery unit:  Juan Luis Hosp.
The VI is big on healthy babies and healthy expectant Mothers. They have a healthy babies program and also a Federal program called WIC: women, infants and children.
The WIC program gives expectant Mothers or Mothers who have given birth and their children help with healthy food, vaccines and education.
