Driving times

I am moving to Singaraja in November. Although it is on the coast there is no surf nearby ( I think, right?) How far or how long will it take to drive to the nearest beach with surf? Google earth probably isn't the most reliable source of information for drive times because it does not take into consideration the road conditions. Thanks any input would be greatly appreciated!
