Finding a job in dominican republic
I am moving to the dominican republic in a couple of months, and am having a lot of trouble in finding a job. I am currently in the U.S. and have limited resources from here in terms of searching for a DR job.
I'd appreciate any advice on where and how someone from out of the country should look for a job down there.
Thanks!

Re: Finding a job in dominican republic
Rebecca,
Finding a job here is difficult for a non Dominican. Wages are low and hours are long. If you are looking to work at anything other then as a waitress you probably will need your cedula (Dominican id card). This will take 3-4 months to get.
Start looking when you get here. Where are you moving to?
What kind of job are you looking for? Why the move to the DR?
