Wishing to Visit Nepal 9/2009

Hello,

I am hoping to visit Nepal in September. I am searching for a female guide. Any ideas?

Hi Michelle, there is a trekking agency in Pokhara that is founded by women and they take only women for treks around the Annapurna or in the region Kaski and Lamjung (which are shorter treks into the Annapurna Circuit) I will try to consult the sources available to me to get you their website and e-mail number. Meanwhile you can do that too by googling "chhettri sisters, trekking, nepal, annapurna, pokhara," Maybe you find them before me...I am a bit busy at the moment so I would maybe search later if you do not have result?
I will also go through our local brochures to see whether they are published here. You can be sure...they exist.

I did exactly that, googled for chhettri sisters, trekking, nepal, annapurna, pokhara, and got the link to their website as the first hit:

On their trekking company and lots of other women empowering information regarding Nepal.
