Hi, everybody! Who know how to open visa in Moldova for citizen of Mauritius if he is married to citizen of Moldova? Which details? Unfortunately, on the territory of Mauritius no exist embassy or consulate of Moldova. Thank you in advance.

The Moldovan spouse must go to the immigration department and file an application for invitation,D type,which is long term visa. The applicant will need to prove the relationship by presenting the marriage certificate. Criminal record certificate also will be needed to prove he does not have any problem with police in his home country.
The processing of invitation might take a month before they give out an answer. If the invitation gets approved, you must send it to him in original so that he could go to the nearest Moldovan embassy/consulate. I think it's better for him to travel to Istanbul and to get Moldovan visa from there. It takes 2-3 working days to process visa.
