Re: How I finally moved to Gibraltar

Anyone got any ideas on the cost of renting a small office in Gib? I've applied for a few jobs with no luck so I'm thinking of setting up on my own. I'm looking for a small office in the town centre area. I'm a solicitor by profession. Any ideas folks?

Hi Pat, Just looked through the FRIDAY-AD Gibraltar newspaper (www.friday-ad.gi) we picked up while we were there this year one ad says: Commercial rents from £564 - GM Homes (telephone number) 200-41110. 00350-57953000. Hope this may be some help. Also: International Homes, Unit 6, Ragged Staff Wharf, Queensway Quay, Gibraltar. Tel 350-200-41110 mobile 350-58880000 or 57953000. info@gmihomes.com www.gmihomes.com.
I have more newspapers so if you need more info just email.. warm wishes, Belinda

Hi kingofthekitchen, What kind of Business are you thinking of? Were thinking opening a shop selling Antiquities, stamps and coins etc as our recent visit to Gibraltar bowled us over it's so Beautiful and extremely friendly.. We didn't see much in the way of ancient coin and stamp dealers, just the usual tourist attraction stuff that's not aimed at the serious dealer/collector so were going back over as soon as we can this year to seriously look into renting one or two shops (or simply finding a job if we can!).. warm wishes, Belinda
