Working in Oxford

Hello,

I'm a French girl of 18 and as part of my studies, I'm expected to spend 6 months in an englishspeaking country.
I choose England, and maybe Oxford that seems to be a nice city, with a lot of young people.
So I was wondering if life overthere is good, if it is possible to easily find  work (as waitress or something like that, which does not requires accurate skills), but also a flat or a collocation.
Otherwise, I would like also to know the cost of a living in a such a city.

Thank you for you help !!! smile

Re: Working in Oxford

Hi,
I am an Indian graduate in Arabic, learning now French and so eager to study in oxford and complete my master degree in English. I would like to know about scholarship there, so that I can have a chance to be there and get benefit of it's environment.
Nowadays I've been learning French from a native French speaking person and teaching her Arabic. It's going on quite well.
