Re: Hi All,

Hi guys,
Well Mauritius because being South African and loving summer we probably wont survive anywhere else.  Also because the country is growing and expanding and we feel we can make a meaningful contribution to this.

I have read a quite a bit and we don`t have much to leave behind except for the families.  But the big question is!  Where do you start?

All the help will really be appreciated!!!

smile

Re: Hi All,

Hello,

Nice idea to come live here, Many south-Africans live in Mauritius and there is a South-African community as well...So it might not be very difficult for you to have a social life and friends in Mauritius.

A little advice:- you should start by finding out if you can find a job in the same field that you are working in SA. Because in every part of the world, first thing is to have sufficient funds so as to cover your monthly and daily expenses. So first thing, find a job...

Regarding accomodation, it is not difficult to find a nice place to live and where you are not paying astronomical rent per month.

Wish you good luck ,

Christophe
