Hi,
I moved to Bermuda last year with my husband but was travelling back to the UK monthly to work, since June of this year I have decided to settle perminantely on the Island, so as well as looking for either voluntary employment or paid I am also looking to make friends whether this be female or male, I have lots of friends at home male and female and to be honest just miss having a laugh, and socialising, getting to know people and of course learn more about the island!!!
My husband works 12 hour shifts so as you can imagine life can be a little lonely and originally in the UK I worked in Sales/Health & Safety travelling the UK getting around and meeting all types of people and I miss that massively!!! My friends at home are from the ages of 25 to 50 years of age and I miss them terribly, hopefully my plan is to meet people here on the island who are just as nice and fun and caring!!!!

hi amanda, im thinking about moving to bermuda and want to find out as much as i can before i make the decision. i have been offered a job with the government and it will be a 3 year contract. im not sure where i will be living yet but i do know that they will arrange the accomodation. if i decide to take the job i will be bringing my 2 little cats with me, so was wondering if it is difficult to get a place to live with a bit of a garden. well if you have any advise or information to offer me that would be great. how are you finding bermuda. is it really hot.
