Moved to Cuenca from Nanaimo, BC (Vancouver Island) on Nov.7th, 2013. I am making this wonderful city my home. Great people, great restaurants, great culture and architecture, great scenery and lots of stuff for free in the way of cultural events. I am a freelance photographer specializing in street, landscape and seascape photography.

Expat experience
Worked for Hobart as a Service Technician and pursued my photography passion.
It is a beautiful place. It is basically a rainforest. Very green and lots of activities from skiing to golfing which you can do both in the same day.
The rainy season and the lack of work.
What can I say. Its hot, sunny, lots of outdoor activities, its HOT, and great fishing...did I mention that it's HOT
Too HOT for about 4 months of the year. After that, it is a very pleasant climate.
Raised in Calgary, moved all over Southern Alberta working for Hobart. Went to school and college in Calgary. married and raised our 2 children there.
The varied seasons, lots of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.
Cold, Cold winters !!
