I'm a storyteller, educator and pilgrim. I have lived in the little mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona, for the last eight years running the symphony orchestra and then working at the local arts council. I've lived abroad, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe for eight years, and have worked with journalists and journalism students in developing democracies. I'm here in Bishkek on a Fulbright to teach journalism and storytelling and to make some journalism and storytelling.
