Introduction
Im an Aussie female who came here by accident and never left! I have been living in the Philippines for 2 years now, and have a Pinoy husband. We have a child 1 years old now. I think because I never "offically" planned to live here I have found it to be a bit of a rollercoaster at times, but all up I am happy.

Expat experience
I grew up in Australia, and never dreamed I would be living overseas. It all happened by chance. In Australia I was bought up working class, roll your sleeves up,get in and do the job.
Beauty, nature, fresh air,bright crisp blue skies, amazing beaches, a good education & medical care,a mulit-cultural society,freedom, security, opportunites,hahaa..my list could go on forever :)
When I was younger I hated all the rules,that were always enforced. Simple things like wearing a seatbelt, not littering...nowI fully respect it.
