Hi,I am a philosophy lecturer as well as academic co-ordinator in South Africa - have a family of 4 kids and a wife who is an artist. I recently spent two weeks in Canada on holiday and 3 days in Montreal (this distinction is deliberate) - I fell in love with the city, it topped any city I have ever been in and I have seen some of the world - such a unique cultural mix - felt "home sick" when I left....I was warned this does happen to some people when they visit the city. Seriously considering moving to Montreal to complete my PhD. Both my sons (20 yrs old are big into the arts) one is a musician the other a published poet - it seems they would find enough to do. So I am keen to learn more about the city, eg. educational facilities, housing, employment etc.
