Je suis Australienne, et je vis en Inde. Je vis en ce moment à Gurgaon.

Lived and worked abroad in Indonesia(Jakarta 1995, Sulawesi 1997) Arabia (Qatar 2006, Dubai 2008, Abu Dhabi 2009, Riyadh 2010). Studied cross-cultural awareness and anthropology which helps me to blend into a new culture without too much drama. Survived riots in Sulawesi during Asian financial crisis,was in India during 9/11 and in Goa during Mumbai terrorist attacks. Have been to India on several occasions with a business venture and alternatively I have helped start an orphanage and small community projects there with my husband. My ideal holiday would be a journey on the toy train to Darjeeling with a week's stay in the Windemere Hotel. I now reside in Gurgaon, Haryana A favourite holiday destination is Greece.

Living in a hotel with 4 karaoke bars and fighting for a space in the lift amongst the hoard of prostitutes..lousy accommodation allowance.

Living in Old Town was fabulous as I never had to drive anywhere..shops/pool/pub/restaurants. Watching the world's tallest building going up in my backyard..spectacular

Home schooled 3 children: 17,13,12 (who spent most of the time complaining about missing their friends.)

Living in the capital of Sulawesi fast tracked my language studies as English is not prominant. Relaxed lifestyle and fresh air. Wonderful boat trips out to Samalona Island: snorkelling, sleeping on the beach, eating freshly caught fish on banana leaves with sambal. Easy short flight to Bali

Home schooling three children 15,11,10

Discovered Javanese flavours, Iced lemon tea, Constantly warm weather. Language was relatively easy to pick up. Sundanese instrumental music playing in an open air restaurant made of teak.
